| About Tourist Coaches |
The origins of Tourist Coaches go back to 1920 when a coach company was founded by E & DF Stanfield in Figheldean, Wiltshire. Providing both private coach hire and contract coach services for the numerous military establishments around Salisbury Plain, the company has always been known for providing a reliable and friendly service.
Tourist Coaches became part of the Go-Ahead Group in 2003. We now have bases in Salisbury and Figheldean and run a fleet of 10 coaches varying in size from 21 to 57 seats. We have the back up and expertise of one of the UK's leading transport providers, but we have not lost that level of personal service that makes us able to say with conviction that we are your local coach company.
We place great emphasis on safety and reliability. All of our coaches are maintained to the highest standards by skilled engineers in our own workshops, and every coach is fitted with seat belts.
